Mens motorcycle boots are an important part of the safety equipment you'll want to own when you ride your motorcycle. Too often it's a piece of safety apparel that's forgotten about.
You grab your helmet, toss on your jacket, and pop on your sneakers as you head out the door to go for a cruise. Bad move! Never ride with sandals, runners, flip flops, or bare feet. Don't wear dress shoes, rubber boots, clogs, or high heels either. Your feet will have no protection in the event of a wipe out or accident.
But now here comes the tricky part. It seems riders have a tough time agreeing what type of boot is best for riding. There isn't really a standard for dirt bike boots or racing boots other than they must meet the street boot standards. It's a good thing riders can at least agree on the basics.
Racing track boots are recommended for street riding and dirt bike boots are recommended for dirt bike riding but both can be hard to find and very expensive. They are also not great for walking in because they are so heavy and stiff.
That means if you ride your bike to work and then expect to wear your riding boots all day chances are your feet will be killing you long before the day is done.
